How to Transfer Data from Samsung to iPhone 7/7 Plus/SE/6S

Apple recently launched their brand new iPhone devices, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and with this new release many users will be switching over to the Apple handsets from Android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5/Note 2/Note 3/Note 4, etc. But once you get your new iPhone SE or even the latest iPhone 7/7 Plus, you now have the troublesome task of moving all your contacts, messages, photos and videos onto the new phone.

Take it easy! In this blog we'd like to introduces three simple ways to help you transfer data from Samsung Galaxy to new iPhone 7/7 Plus/SE/6S. Read on to get the solution.

Option 1: Transfer Data from Galaxy to iPhone with Jihosoft Phone Transfer
What your need:

  • New Apple iPhone 6s/se
  • Old Samsung Galaxy phone
  • Two USB cables
  • A Mobile Phone Transfer tool

How to transfer:
1. Download, install and run the Samsung to iPhone Transfer tool on your computer.
2. Connect both the Samsung Galaxy phone and iPhone to the computer via USB cables. (Make sure the new iPhone 6s connected as Destination.)
3. In the source phone panel, choose the data you wish to move and click Start Copy to transfer data from Samsung Galaxy to iPhone 6s.

Option 2: Transfer Data from Samsung to iPhone with Move to iOS App
What you need:

  • New Apple iPhone 6s
  • Old Samsung Galaxy phone
  • Apple Move to iOS app

How to transfer:

1. Set up your new iPhone 7/7 Plus until you reach the screen titled Apps & Data, then select the Move Data from Android option.
2. In the screen of Move from Android, tap Continue and wait for a ten-digit code to appear.
3. On your Samsung Galaxy phone, open the Google Play Store and search for Move to iOS, then install and run it.
4. Tap Continue on the intro screen, read the terms and conditions that appear and tap Agree. Then tap Next in the screen of Find Your Code.
5. Now on your Samsung Galaxy phone, enter the code displayed on the iPhone. The Samsung device will connect with the iPhone over a Wi-Fi Direct connection.
6. On the Samsung Galaxy phone, select the data you wish to move to your new iPhone 6s and tap Next to begin the transfer.
7. Once the transfer is complete, tap Done on your Samsung Galaxy phone, then tap Continue Setting Up iPhone on your new iPhone 7/7 Plus.

Option 3: Transfer Data from Samsung to iPhone 7/7 Plus via Copy My Data
What you need:

  • New Apple iPhone 7
  • Old Samsung Galaxy phone
  • Both phones on the same Wi-Fi network
  • The Copy My Data free app installed on both handsets

How to transfer:
1. Install and open the Copy My Data app on both your iPhone and Samsung Galaxy devices.
2. On the Samsung phone, tap Next on the intro screen. While on the iPhone 7/7 Plus, tap OK then Next on the intro screen.
3. On the iPhone 7/7 Plus, tap To or From Another Device over WiFi and tap Next. After that, tap the Displayed Phone then Copy Data from Selected Device.
4. Now a pin code will be requested. Just enter the PIN code displayed on the Samsung Galaxy phone into the iPhone 7/7 Plus, then tap Next.
5. On your Samsung Galaxy phone, choose the data you wish to transfer and tap Next to copy data from Samsung to iPhone 7/7 Plus.
